Garry Has more than thirty years of scientific research in chronic disease management. He is an expert in the area of behavior medicine for chronic disease care and has extensive experience leading clinical research on behavior change strategies for people with diabetes and other chronic diseases. Dr. Welch’s 30+ years of clinical research led to co-founding Silver Fern Healthcare where he oversees the company’s scientific activities, including management of the clinical teams, research compliance, data analyses, and research dissemination.
Cynthia Wicks

Cindy has more than three decades of healthcare industry experience within national managed care organizations, health insurance companies, ACOs, physician IPAs, and hospital system organizations. She is a subject-matter expert in payor/provider relationships; negotiations and alliances; provider risk and incentive reimbursement models; and alignment of provider reimbursement models with benefit designs, incentives, metrics, and fund flow models for commercial, self-insured, Medicare Advantage, and managed Medicaid products. Cynthia has worked with hundreds of physicians improving quality and total cost of care metrics to assure maximum success with value-based contracts.

Bernadette oversees health programming at WellSpark. She has more than 30 years of senior leadership experience in the healthcare and insurance industries. Leading a team of registered nurses and health coaches, Bernadette’s focus is to ensure the best clinical care for our WellSpark participants. She is a certified Health and Wellness Coach through Wellcoaches and a certified Exercise Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine.
